  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Most likely not because your body will understand that you are drinking a poison and will try to get rid of it.
Why don't you want to use one?

You can still succeed without it. You just need to make sure you don't vomit it after you drink it. Also you can drink another glass of you vomit it. Have at least 3 glasses.
I think some people need to be aware that the antiemetic can be difficult to get without prescription in some countries or it can take some time to even obtain it.

This question is literally asked at least once per day.

The answer never changes.

For best results, get an antiemetic.

Some people have success without one, but it's impossible to predict or control.

The search feature and resources on this forum are wonderful!

I wonder about the frequently touted advice to take a second or third dose of SN in the event of vomiting. This must be almost impossible to do. The body has already identified and rejected a poison, and will surely immediately do so again if an attempt is made to try and force down more of the same stuff.

I think its more seen as a fight against time, keeping as much down before you faint.

They probably wanted a direct answer. And plus it takes a lot a time searching though the forum when they're desperate.

Not really. I searched "sodium nitrite antiemetic" and found Stan's guide, ctrl+F'd "antiemetic" and found the answer within three minutes or so.
I feel like we need more mods in this forum to deal with the repeat questions...

Just a reminder that you can use the search function to find answers to direct questions.
You will find that it helps with your research:hug:

That is the rationale. Not perfect, but with the medieval laws that exist, I find myself accepting that ctb is fraught with difficulties.

@SuicideByBelt, if you are desperate, or acting impulsively, please know that perhaps it might be best not to rush into anything. We are here for support.

I don't think so. Stomach activated not due to poison, but irritation. 50ml on empty stomach is not much to vomit. Should not be severe, violent, prolonged, debilitating.

The thing is when you search the forum there's a lot of different answers out there. This is going to make it more difficult for the person to make a clear cut decision on whether to use one or not. Too much information and no clear cut answer to their question, in the brain can make them anxious. There's a reason people look for direct answers in the first place.

I agree with others, everything had been answered. Plus ctb should be well-researched, not 'follow instructions' (!)

However, I think adding FAQ to Guide would be beneficial.

If we all had the exact same dna, genetics, and body this question would have a simple yes or no answer. Since you are unique, no one can answer this question for you, or provide you with any guarantee it will or will not work , even with the antiemetic.

One issue that's often glossed over are the potentially serious side effects from antiemetics. Another member just shared their extremely unpleasant reaction to meto. I'm aware of numerous reports of the same side effects (extreme anxiety that makes you want to get out of your own skin). I strongly advise everyone to do a trial run of just meto (or their anti emetic of choice). It's not something you want to find out when you make your actual attempt!

Yeah, I see that as just kind of a fad, like the capsules were. One person mentioned it, and suddenly it's being recommended everywhere.

But having a nausea disorder normally, I can tell you once you start feeling sick and vomiting, it's really hard to keep extra stuff down. For me, plain water makes me vomit at that point, so I can't imagine salty water.

They probably wanted a direct answer. And plus it takes a lot a time searching though the forum when they're desperate.
I'm sure, but this person has a habit of not researching and asking redundant questions.

I gave them a very direct answer, in any case. Along with a reminder to search.

No period. Why jeopardise your attempt. A couple of people have tried SN past week and today, all with ae and has not replied. Either they are placed in psy ward or they are in heaven right now.

"No period" does not answer "Can you successfully CTB from Sodium Nitrite without antiemtic?" The correct answer is yes it's possible but not recommended
