Can you buy poison ammunition? 🔫

It seems to me that having some fail-safes in place makes the most sense. If I were to take some medicine, it might work, but I could also combine multiple methods to ensure success. I was considering a few different combinations, one of which included using a firearm. This led me to wonder if it's possible to buy ammunition that contains a type of poison. That way, there would be three methods/layers in place, as I wouldn't want to end up in a vegetative state, obviously.

Never heard of that before. Seen it in the movies, but think it's just fiction. Guess you could get creative and make your own - semi-hollow bullet, fill it with something, plug hole. You'd have to load, prime, and press it together yourself. No idea what poison you'd put in it, though. And not sure what poison would even do, really, if it could even get into your system easily after shooting yourself. If nothing else, it's kind of a novel idea.

No, I don't think this is a real thing. If you really wanted some extra fail-safes, here's a theoretical thought experiment with four built in. Get a small boat with a small cabin on it and take it out to the middle of a big lake or the ocean, bring some diesel heaters or camp stoves, light them all without the vents so the room fills with CO. Now take 25G of SN, then take a shotgun and blow out the floor outside of the cabin, causing the boat to sink, then the last fail safe, use the gun on yourself. I don't see how anyone could survive any one of these things tbh but all together? No chance.

that study showed 90% of firearms suicides are lethal

but a lot of these people didn't have a lot of experience shooting . and many used 22 caliber handguns . and some used fmj instead of hollowpoint. a lot didn't do research and practice to not flinch before the shot dry firing .

imo the main things to make firearms 99.9% are 1. a lot of practice dry firing and aiming correctly . for example don't aim under the chin at the face only . 2. a very power rifle or shotgun with new powerful ammo. 3. hollow point or expanding hunting ammunition. again newest ammo you can get. we hear a lot here how everything lasts forever and never decays . the law of entropy says otherwise as all things go to disorder. but these people didn't do any of these things and stil got 90%
