I know the PPH & Stan's Guide states that SN is pretty quick but I was wondering what everyone else's opinion is on how long it takes to actually ctb and not be able to be revived if I take 20-25g.

I'll be ctbing soon and am trying to figure out how much time I should give myself so I'm not disturbed (I live with parents).

Can you still be revived after a few hours using methylene blue?

Stay happy and healthy all xx

I think you experience the effects within a few minutes and are unconscious within 20 minutes. What happens after that doesn't really matter as long as you're not found for a few hours...

Hello,

Welcome to SS I have removed Stan's guide as Idonk posted it, I find different people have different experiences some people lose consciousnesses from 16 minutes to 25 minutes it's hard to tell what time they ctb as they are not communicating but it could be from 40 minutes.

You should find tons of information from the link below.

There's a lot to read about SN. @idonk gave one resource, @Jumper Geo gave another. On the Resources Compilation thread, you will find Stan's guide and an SN FAQ, even information for testing the purity of SN. Also, if you use the site search for SN successes and failures, you will see there are three threads that have gathered anecdotal accounts of members' experiences.

As far as the death rattle, there are YouTube video examples of this on the thread that reported @Moonicide's ctb, an easy thread to find, it's included in the anecdotal accounts. You may want to use a sound conditioner or download white noise videos and start running them at various times, including when you plan to ctb, so that your family will be acclimated to the noise and not be suspicious. If there is any way that you can do this at another location such as a hotel, I hope you'll consider it, but that's just me, I don't know anything about your personal situation, limitations, or relationship with your parents.

Edit: The OP originally asked about death rattles but was edited.

If you do it right, it should be over in 1-2 hours but every body is different.

I would personally allow 4 hours to be absolutely certain.

I read some experiences with SN and realized that there are many things that you don't expect. Life is full of events that we did not imagine could happen. So even though I can't afford it, I'm saving money to pay for a hotel, to finish without interruption.

I have already survived many attempts at ctb. I just can't survive again.

Sorry.

That's so true. I never planned to still be here now. Good luck with saving enough money! I hope you find all the peace and happiness you deserve.

I hope this helps answer your question, in this case the person was taken to the hospital about an hour after taking NA. They did successfully revive him after he took 15 grams of NA

That's not unexpected. That amount can kill. The reason a much larger amount is recommended is (a) to absolutely guarantee death as much as possible and (b) to speed up the process for less time spent suffering and/or discoverable and able to be revived.

I was more trying to make the point ... stop attempting to taste, try, experiment, change dosage etc. it's deadly if not found or call for help. The end!

From what I've heard/read, two hours is the point of no return. Four hours is when death is absolutely official.

Oh right, I misunderstood you. Yes, totally! My views on half-assed or experimental attempts with SN are well-known!

Perhaps, but most likely you'll be gone. It's difficult to say. SN is really a wild card, it seems.
