I'm surprised I don't see more about trains here, in the UK especially it's such an easy method.

I'm talking about laying down with your neck on the track, not jumping because you might fly off and end up disabled.
Is anyone planning this method?

Kind of like this. There is literally a 0% survival rate and 0% regret because if you do change your mind you can just get up and leave. I don't know what security at level crossings are like in the UK but I'm considering just wearing a hi-vis and walking a few meters up, after checking the fast train schedule of course.

I think it's less traumatic for the driver too like this. No bloody corpse shattering the windshield and staining their mind forever.

The main reason it isnt talked about as much is because you should always aim for methods that dont involve others. I doubt theres a way to make it not traumatic for the driver - my friends dad hit a guy while driving many years ago and still thinks about it.

This, I'm pretty sure the driver still must get out and check if he can still help. And the time it takes from him to notice the person on the train to the actual hit must feel like an absolute eternity, as they desperately try to stop the train. I'd say it might be even more traumatizing this way than someone jumping on the track out of nowhere

I'm also quite sceptical about the "0% survival rate", even the shotgun isn't 100%. You can't guarantee that your survival instinct won't kick in last second - SI kicks in, you instinctively try to get up, but still get hit just hard enough that the medics miraculously "save" you and you end up paralyzed for the rest of your life...

I was being hyperbolic TBF it probably isn't 0% but you would need a miracle to survive it if you don't panic too late, in that split second between walking away unscathed and getting disabled.

As for the driver the truth is idc this is imho the UK governments fault for making it so hard to end your own life that you have to resort to such brutality and I don't even feel bad about it.

it's so tempting when i'm laying in bed at night and i hear the train by my house. even when i pass by it i'm just wondering "what if?"…maybe the best method for me.
