Hello, I wanna die. I don't have a specific reason, I'm not abused at home, I'm kinda failing school but it's not a big deal, only my father is an ass to me but I guess everyone have someone like that in their families. I just simply don't feel like living anymore, life's not interesting and thats all. Do I need to have a reason to die? More precisely do I have to have a reason to live?

I've seen some people describe this. I wonder where the feeling comes from. You're not alone in it certainly.

I find that concept fascinating.

If you're not wanting to be here due to boredom, then what's keeping you from doing something or finding something for entertainment?

I can't say you need to have a "reason" to die, but I guess there'd be no point in doing it if you don't really feel strongly either way. At least your family won't be in emotional turmoil if you stay and you don't mind living.

Nobody needs a reason to die as the fact is that continuing to exist in this world could never be an obligation. We are all going to die anyway regardless if there is a reason behind it or not, life is completely pointless and meaningless and life only leads to death anyway. If someone wishes to exit then they simply should be able to. But in my case I at least know that I could never wish to stay here no matter what, as I simply despise existing, it's something futile and unappealing. I think that it's true that not everyone is meant for existing and it's perfectly justifiable disliking life. I cannot understand why anyone would actually want to stay here, I view it as always being preferable to not exist.

i don't think anyone needs a reason for why they want to die. if you don't wish to exist anymore, then you don't wish to exist anymore. even if you have a good relationship with your family or no apparent mental illness, this world is cruel and i can understand why someone wouldn't want to live in it.

Your life is your life and you should be able to do what you want with it (as long as it doesn't harm others), or leave it if you choose. This is at the root of being pro-choice.

I think the more important queston is how long have you felt like this? is it something you have been dealing with for a while and you genuinely dont see an answer to if not it could just be a phase, I'm no pro-lifer... but CTB is nothing to play around with, if you truly arent ready to commit to a decision then trying and backing out or failing could only make things way worse for yourself! I still believe life can be valuable for some, its only when youve really exhausted all others paths and you can clearly see at the end they still all lead to unhappiness and unfulfillment its truly time, but thats just my opinion!
