can I store SN inside a empty bottle of water?

It's now in a sealed plastic bag, but I would like to put it in a bottle of water. should I be worried?

so I can move it easily. If I open the plastic bag, there's no way I seal it again.

you cant store it that way but i think i read one thread where someone stored it temporarily like that while they went to their destination.

if you store it in the water a chemical reaction (that i dont remember) will occur and it wont be sodium nitrite anymore or at least wont be as potent. (i know im right but im not 100% sure on accuracy. basically thats the gist of it)

Airtight glass jar. A mason jar is super handy, you can get those in any hobby stores that sell canning goods.
