Basically the title.

Can I reliably kill myself using rat poison, and if yes, how bad would the pain be? How much would I have to take?

Would I risk waking up in hospital (that'd be a fate worse than death for me so I need to be absolutely certain that this WOULD kill me... also I am a wuss when it comes to pain, so if it's unbearable, I can't do it)

Hypothetically, yes. Although I'm unsure of the specifics, I wouldn't recommend it. A few years ago, I watched a video online of a man's death following consumption, and it looked extremely agonising. There are much better methods - don't put yourself through that.

Absolutely, one hundred percent NO! Don't try to OD with any poison other than N or SN! It will most likely burn your stomach and you'll puke it all out, damaging your organs and living in a hospital.

ב''ה,

My understanding is a lot of internal bleeding with the common US retail varieties, as may be sized for safety requiring consuming a lot for any effect. Decent chance of hospital, probably agonizing unless unconscious for the duration.

Some nations appear to have cyanide compounds for this use, so read the labels. Can't say if that's any less unpleasant.

Sure. You'd have to take enough, and if you don't mind the pain... it's a sure way to go.

Fluoroacetate is highly toxic to all mammals. Toxicity varies depending on the species. The lethal oral dose for humans is 10 mg/kg.

Rat poison use anticoagulant drug which cause internal bleeding. I don't know internal bleeding pain or not, but it is hard to eat lethal dosage

Those are modern rat poisoners and they take days to act. However, they do not present any particular symptoms other than fatigue and sometimes difficulty breathing. The old rat poisons worked completely differently and the substances are still available in some countries.
Here to kill bears they use Endosulfan which has been banned worldwide for many years. Yet they give us poisonings throughout Europe and Russia. I have no idea how they get it.

I know people took Warfarin OD and succeed, but prescription is almost impossible to get. I check my local rat poison supply, not mention exactly how much in them.
I managed to get a bottle of Phenobarbital from overseas vet, but finally I can't get access to it.
Overall, get a reliable medication OD CTB is extremely hard, especially for people live in developed countries.

A lot of modern rat poisons have an emetic in them in case they are accidentally taken by humans. Depending on your region and what regulations are, it's entirely likely you will immediately throw it all back up. As others have said, it is also a slow, agonizing death and I would highly recommend not trying.
