Can benzos and alcohol be effective?

I'm considering other methods. And aside from hanging, I have a shitload of lorazepam and xanax. Say I take 4mg xanax + a bottle of wine. would that work? I'm a little desperate I might do that + hanging. The issue is that hanging is loud and I live with people, and I can't get myself to f$cking wake up at night.

From my own experience I can tell you that benzo with alcohol doesn't work. I've consumed 100X0.5 mg of Clonazepam and 100X0.5 mg of Alprazolam (Xanax) and about 4 liter of wine about a year ago, but as you can see I'm still alive.

I woke up don't know how long after. Maybe one or two days?

No vomit, just extremely dizzy and brain Not working very well.
I couldn't walk without falling for a week.
never been to hospital tho.
It may work for some people but idk what kind of magic they do for that to work, I just know it was not my case at all.

I just wanted to not wakeup anymore but here I'm certifying 100x that my partial suspension will not fail me too heh I'll tho take a little wine and a little benzo just to chill out before ctb by hanging. A little cig too sitting by the window looking at the sky I love so much too maybe :)

I believe one must have some underlying medical conditions to make a benzo - alcohol combo to work.

Maybe you'd be able to pass out & drown if you did it in a bathtub. Wine is a bad choice, you need at least a liter of hard liquor. Adding some otc antiemetics wouldn't hurt either

Yes, that's exactly how much. I slept for 24-36 hours (maybe I was even in a coma for a while - I don't know), and then I woke up with a monstrous hangover. A week later, I was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis. Maybe it's just a coincidence, or maybe not. But all this is very strange, since I had no health problems before.

Just drop the benzo+alcohol combo fren, specially if you live with other people.
I took it by impulse because I live alone and was on lockdown so no one would miss since work was closed. So no one ever knew about this failed attempt.
If you take it you'll be "asleep" for a day or two and your family will get you to the hospital (even tho you'd wakeup by yourself anyway) and they'll will for sure be way more vigilant towards you. If you really want to ctb this move will only make things harder for you

One of my friends died after taking a potent research chemical benzo while drinking alcohol. I don't know if she wanted to die at that moment. I miss her. The drug she was taking is deadlier than a typical prescription benzodiazepene.

(Besides dying) The greatest risk with benzo + alcohol is blacking out and doing something regrettable, like injuring yourself, harming your relationships, or worse.

Oh yes. Several times. One time I drank a lot of moonshine (60% alcohol) and took some benzos. And then I blacked out, woke up after a while and I was like in a trance state. Apparently I went to the kitchen, took a knife, got back into my room and sliced/cut my legs 50 times. The scariest thing is that I have no memory of that. I sort of "woke up" from this trance when I was standing in my room, blood was dripping everywhere, the bed sheets were soaked in blood and there was blood on the curtains. I ended up in a psych ward and they "tied" me to a chair with belts lol. But there was no pain. I started to feel pain two days later when I got sober. Another time was when I was intoxicated on benzos and vodka, I fell on my face on concrete lol, but there was no pain at all. My face looked horrible for several weeks, it's a miracle I didn't break my nose and frontal teeth. It healed ok with no scars and I look the same as before. But now I know, that messing with this stuff can have horrible consequences. So now, I'm taking benzos and alcohol only when I decide to drown myself. Hopefully in August.

Yes, that's the only good thing about it if you decide to ctb. But if you don't plan thoroughly it can make your situation even worse. It's better to use alcohol and benzos as an aid, but not as a solution.

Sorry, but I don't believe in this method anymore, so I'm not going to save up my medications for several months to experiment with this highly unreliable method.

This is defo not a guaranteed method to ctb, as someone highlighted earlier, you prolly need to have some underlying medical condition to make this combo work as a greyhound ticket :)
Chances that you'll waste your time and bring more agony upon yourself are huge

I'm sorry about your friend, but this is just one of the rare cases in which a benzo + alcohol combo ended in death. In most cases, be it 100 mg, 300, 500 most people survive with or without lasting damage. It is still a very unreliable method.

I like to believe that it's possible to take an antiemetic, crush a shitload of benzos, put the powder in a glass, drink it as fast as possible with loads of hard liquor in a bathtub, black out & drown Dolores O'Riordan style
