I thought I was going to have more time, but it appears that my time to jump is closing in quicker than expected. I appreciate all advice, but I am specifically looking to converse with jumpers. I chose jumping for the fact of no turning back once you jump. So the commitment is 100%. SI for jumping is so strong I want to discuss methods for overcoming it. Thanks in advance.

In all seriousness, I don't have a lot of tips for overcoming SI, so I'll leave that for others. But one tip I will give is that when jumping, you should try to go head first. Otherwise you always risk surviving and becoming horrible disfigured/disabled in the process.

Not too long ago there was a guy at Heathrow Airport who committed suicide by jumping the second story, and dead immediately because he dove headfirst. So that's how important it is.

Absolutely DO NOT jump feet first. There are people who have literally survived falling 200+ feet because they landed on their feet, often times only injuring their bottom halves and nothing else, which is not nearly enough to kill you. So you definitely don't want to do that. Always do your best go head first, or even back first for that matter. Anything but the legs.

That's about all I can say for that. Obviously it's your choice, and only you can make that decision, not us. In any case, I wish you the best of luck in finding peace my friend :)

I'm choosing Beachy Head as my location, how about you??

So I am going to be doing the same thing as well however it would be my first and hopefully only attempt for suicide. I was thinking that maybe trying to do it while high would help due to the decision making being easier while high in my own opinion at least. But yes as the other person said making sure you hit your head first is the best way to go about it

Thank you for responding. I will most likely try landing on my back. My spot is from a 16 story balcony onto concrete and asphalt. Beachy Head is very popular. I wish you luck and peace as well if or when that time comes.

I plan on just running and hopping the railing falling backwards 16 stories onto concrete and asphalt. I will most likely drink as much as needed to ease SI. Thanks again. There is comfort in knowing others have chosen the same method.

It's in my top 3 potential methods (along with SN and roping).

Make sure that there are no cars below, or you may end up in a funny situation like this drunk dude who fell from 19th floor

One of my preferred methods is jumping.
I will blindfold myself while partiality drunk before leaping to help overcome survival instinct.

I know right. I saw that. That shit is crazy! I used to not think twice about stuff like that. My jump spot landing is in front of a parking garage exit. It has a concrete overhang, but shit now I have to think what if I miss and land on a car and survive. Nothing's easy I guess.

I definitely think drinking is the key for me. I'm not a drinker. I have done a few tests with drinking and it doesn't take much. I am test drunk right now and feel like I would be much less anxious about jumping. I have access to other methods but I don't know why I am set on jumping. It is super scary, but it is the only method I think about.

I mean the only method I think about as well is jumping but you should research the best places that people usually do it at. I am more than likely going to the golden gate Bridge since there is a high chance you die instantly. Etika used that method too

Make sure not to land on someone, as their body may lessen the blow—causing you to survive and an innocent bystander to die.

What are the chances of survival if someone jumps from a 12story building onto concrete falling backwards?

I'm feeling the same way. I held on for as long as I could. I'm going to wind up jumping also. Before I do, I'm going to make sure I'm loaded up with enough alcohol to cause alcohol poisoning before I jump.

Also alcohol impairs the body's ability to from blood clots, thus significantly increasing the likelihood of severe bleeding (whether internally or externally).

You dont have a car to make that drive?
Drive from Florida to California just to jump off something else. No thanks. I'll take my chances with hitting concrete and asphalt. Hopefully I can overcome SI or I will be living on the streets. I would rather die by hitting the street.

Nice.

No one knows. It is always 50/50. You either live or you die. Plenty of people have died from 12 story drops and I'm sure some have lived. Every method has stories of survival. You have to decide if it looks like it will work or not. Then it is up to luck, fate or whatever name you want to give it.

Apparently the other place that's popular that's in Florida is the sunshine skyway Bridge in Tampa Bay

Thanks. Maybe I'm just a picky son of a bitch. I have no desire to jump from a bridge or in front of a train. I initially was going to jump from a cell tower but then I came across these highrise condos and the access is just to easy to pass up.
