Hi,

I'm considering buying the PPeH so I always have the latest updates as soon as they are available. According to the website, you need to be 50+ and verify your identity.
Other people on this forum said before they bought the PPeH and were not asked to verify their identity.

Can someone confirm whether or not such verification is required? With other words, can I buy the PPeH without being 50 years old?

As far as i know they verify the age and/or your medical history only when you apply for their forums membership, the book can be bough w/o age restrictions

Is it? I'm going to try to contact Exit International and ask the question directly. If it really is classified information, my apologies for asking in public.

Absolutely. However:
1) It takes a while before the pdf is uploaded
2) Not all updates are being uploaded
3) The real ebook contains certain video's, which are not contained in the pdf uploaded

This is not an attack on the specific person uploading legit PPH's here - she's doing excellent work. I'm just considering to get the real PPeH myself. The original price is quite high (about $110 for 24 months), but a 24-month extension after that is just about $45.

They are strict as they had a lot of publicity from a young girl buying N and CTB years ago.

They will ask for a photo ID passport or Driving License, but it doesn't cost anything to try.

Cheers

Geo

Does it matter to purchase it online for $100 USD or just download the jan 2021 version through this? I was primarily asking for videos and sourcing out someone for N.

I find it completely asinine that they have that requirement. They're implying that the suffering of young (and not-particularly-young) people is less real and valid, and also that that the lives of older people are less worth preserving. They should just stay out of that quagmire and simply follow whatever laws are in their jurisdiction about not selling the book to literal children.

I don't know why the initial financial outlay has to be so high either, particularly given that their stated intended audience is elderly terminally ill people. Such folks are not usually rolling in dough. Offering a six month subscription for $25 is technically the same price as $100 over two years. Why does someone who's terminally ill need a two year subscription to anything anyway?

I believe its due to legal issues but you're right, completely baffling how you have to be x age to buy someone...?

Their site says that they'll only sell the online book to people who are over age 50, "of sound mind," or who are "seriously ill." By this they mean physically ill. In the bootleg download available through links on this site, there's a bit at the beginning where the authors say the book is "wholly inappropriate" for mentally ill people. I have no idea where anyone gets the idea that just because a disorder is mental it must also be treatable in some meaningful way. Whoever promised that? More to the point, whoever promised that who didn't have pharmaceuticals to peddle?

Anyway, I get that the authors of the PPeH have to cover their asses so they won't be charged with murder or who knows what else. It's still damned weird to demand to see proof of someone's age and/or medical status before you sell them an e-book. Especially when you can buy the hardcopy version from Amazon with no restrictions.

If you just need the sources of N, you can use the version found on this forum. If you want the video's, you'll have to buy the book.

The price is actually in Australian dollars, which is about $76 US dollars. That's still a lot for people who have been too ill to work for a long time, though.

I just bought it at $95 USD. I'll be 50 in less than one month. They took my money no problem -- let's just hope they'll send me a download link. Oh, and I was asked to upload a picture ID, I chose passport, but driver's license would suffice also.

I'll be 50 this year too, although I've got a few months to go yet. I'm considering buying the ebook as well, although mostly so I can figure out how to disseminate whatever information they deem too scandalous to put in the hands of people ages 18-49.

I still can't see the point in setting the age limit at 50. Being old in itself is not an argument for suicide. Likewise, just because someone has the potential to live many more years does not mean they are obligated to do so, particularly in the face of intractable suffering.

I agree. I think it must be purely for legal reasons. I expect PN is taking legal advice.

I'm over 60 and can't buy the PPeH as I don't have photo ID. So I've been grateful for the download on here.
