  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm in the US. Should I use my real name? I don't see a way around using my real address but I could definitely use a fake name…

I've used my real name since I had to supply my real address anyway and my name's on the doorbell, so a fake name would only confuse the courier. I did wait with supplying my personal details however until after the payment was confirmed.

Use your real name. It's not an issue. A fake name arguably looks more suspicious considering you probably already regularly recieve packages with your real name.

I can't seem to get past in my mind the paranoia of getting shit from x country. It just screams drug purchase to me. I feel my shitty town hates me and I am so worried about this as well as person I live with seeing package from x country and wanting to know wtf it is.

Plenty of people nowdays order from overseas from developing countries (ex: aliexpress, wish, etc.) so I wouldn't worry about it. 99% of the people that work in the shipping business don't care what you order and where you order from. It is just work at the end of the day. Also, like others here have said before, it is a very innocuous package.
