You're looking for the active ingredient pentobarbital. Nowadays almost exclusively used as a veterinary drug. Normally between 10-15 grams of pentobarbital is used to ctb.

The veterinary formulation comes in liquid bottles. Sometimes a color is added to make it stand out (commonly blue or red), it otherwise is a colorless liquid. The concentration of the veterinary formulations can also differ. 6.3 grams per 100 ml is common in some countries (and is most commonly acquired by members), whereas other formulations can be 20, 40 or 50 grams per 100ml.

Another route has been to acquire pentobarbital powder from China. In which case they ship about 25 grams from what I understand.

Recently it has become much more difficult to get N from what I've read here.

Probably difficult with NZ customs/bio security. I'm a kiwi, family friends with a higher up in customs, they are not to be messed with.

fuck... this is the only method I have in mind. you think if I were to order it and it got stopped in customs, I'd get in trouble?

I'm not sure to be honest, I think it usually comes down to hefty fines unless it's something controlled like P, have you looked into SN?
Also, I'm sure they know what N is for down there...that could cause you some problems as far as being committed I would think

I was referring to SN as N... Are they two different things?

Ahhh yes verrry different. SN I couldn't imagine you getting in trouble for importing, I would think somebody in NZ sells it, maybe some sort of food service supplier. It's used to make sausages and other processed meats. I think from an industrial standpoint there is some sort of use of it in compressed air tools but I could be wrong. I should know because I use air tools daily but I've never come across SN.
Can anyone tell me if it's against the rules to spell out the name of N and SN to help to OP? I can't really tell...I'm new here...or OP PM me

Yes, writing out names of things is okay.
What we should avoid doing is naming sources, eg names of websites, links, email addresses, etc.
Those should only be shared in PMs.
