does anyone know much about butterfly needles? looking to use in combination w another method, but just asking abt this in isolation. curiosities are as follow:
1) do they require a vacuum / syringe to flow? or do once you insert and open the channel, will it flow freely and exit via tube?
2) if they require a vacuum/ syringe, what happens if the vessel fills fully? does it spill over, or does the draw cease?
3) gravity- does the source need to be lower than the heart, or is maintaining equal level (eg laying down) enough?
also if anyone knows if basilic, median cub., and cephalic can take one butterfly each? if not which has strongest flow?
thx for info in advance
