I ordered my SN yesterday at my local drug store, It should take two or three days to arrive.

While I wait, I researched about SN antidote (Methylene Blue) and I found that when administered with fluvoxamine (or other SSRIs) it can provoke serotonin syndrome. Im currently on 100mg daily.
If I end up in ER and they administer Methylene blue, is there a chance I end up with a botched ctb attempt?

Ending up with a chronic condition scares me, specially if it does not happen because of SN but because of the antidote

Anybody knows something about this?

I dont know, I researched some of the side effects and there is withdrawal symptoms. I dont know if you can just go cold turkey and quit
you need to taper off slowly, reduce dose gradually

you got SN at your local drugstore? I looked everywhere! any hints? I'm in the US. And wean off of the SSRI if you want. It is soooo hard to do..I am trying. Maybe you won't need the M Blue! I am on an SSRI, too. But if I can get SN, I will not care about any other probs.

The most likely course of events is that the doctors will notice the symptoms of serotonin syndrome, ask you if you're taking antidepressants, and begin treating the symptoms of serotonin syndrome after they manage the symptoms of methemoglobinemia.
Of course, this depends on where you live and the competence of the local medical staff.
But dying from serotonin syndrome alone would be unlikely.

That said, I'm not a doctor and this is not medical advice. Just someone who has been through serotonin syndrome.
