Is it suspicious to book a hotel/AirBnB at fairly short notice?
And to ask to be un-disturbed for several days?

I'm considering maybe going for a few days, finish writing notes/letters, then CTB.

Also, other users have noted that doing it in an AirBnB is really bad 'taste'. I get it, it's someone's home (although I'm hoping to find something that's maybe less personal than that). However, I don't know about doing it in a forest. I don't have a car. And I don't know how I would feel 'safe' enough to do it there. I mean, I guess I am going to die anyway but it might be more comforting doing it indoors. I'd appreciate thoughts though

Yeah, don't do it in an AirBnB, seriously.

If you're going to go out, then do it putting the least amount of harm on anyone else as possible.

Hotel, or even a tent in the forest, or something.

If you do a hotel at short notice and ask not to be disturbed, no one is going care one way or the other, I can guarantee you that.

Just make sure you put a "do not disturb" sign on your door or the hotel maids will try to bust the door down like the fucking Feds when it's check-out/cleaning time.

I don´t understand why this should be suspicious. But I would NOT rent a room in an apartment that you share with other people that might come home and find you. Try to find a single apartment for just you or a hotel room. Or maybe you can rent a car or van.

Forest is out. It would be too creepy for me.
I would like to find an apartment by itself. Air BnB does have this! I have stayed in caravans etc before. In other words, not someone's house but a specific place they just use for renting out to Air BnB.
With the hotel room I would be concerned of video cameras and also I've read reports on SN thread that sometimes you can wake up others with suspicious noises in the night (such as knocking things over, vomiting). Hence I'm hoping to find somewhere that has an apartment on its own (hopefully it's not insanely expensive though)! I don't really know what else to do.
I mean, even if I did it in my room the people I share my place with would find me eventually, and/or hear me.

rent a car or van
I can't. I have no driving license.

I think it's acutally "ok-ish" to do it in an AirBnB if no other option is available ( for example out of financial reasons ). Just put a sign on the door outside "your room" that says only the police should look in here. It's not like you kill/ harm / traumatize people if you go out in an AirBnB. It's not like the train method

Also it's the governments fault for not providing you a good place to ctb.

Well yeah, I don't have much funds honestly (at all) and if by any chance this fails I don't want to have absolutely 0 funds.
I really want a nice (peaceful) place to do it. I already can't do it at 'home' (not like I have one, anyway). Going to a random Air BnB where I've never been before, where I don't know the people or if they'd come etc is already scary/new enough.

I'm hoping that if I follow the Stan method/protocol it will be ok and I'll just pass in the night. They're not going to come and wake me up at 6 am hopefully haha.

Yeah I agree. I wish I could do it like the way they do at Dignitas and so on, or as close as possible
