Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Alright.

So. I live with family, but I can't delve too much into the details. One of them has signed up to the USPS tracker which shows incoming packages to the home. That's ruled out the SN method completely. The source I have requires the shipping address to match that of the ID you need to submit for it. So I can't even get a P.O. Box.

My idea is to purchase an AR-15 Pistol. 5.56 MM.

I'm home alone a lot. But I'd purchase the firearm online, have it shipped to an FFL, pick it up when I'm home alone, buy ammunition there, maybe even take it out for a test drive at a range nearby. Dunno. Get a hotel room within the next couple days, and CTB there.

I can legally own firearms. I have purchased and passed the background check for my state, when buying a rifle last year. I have no reservations about that part. It's more of a concern when I purchase the gun and ammunition I'd keep it in my room. I'd go to a hotel room alone.

Does anyone see any holes in my plan? PLEASE give me your insight or whatever pops into your mind.

That sounds good to me. A friend of mine purchases their guns the same way - no problems whatsoever. Just hide it well when you check into the hotel, but that's a given anyway.
Do your parents/family enter your room without permission and snoop around? That would be the only concern here.

Thanks for the comment. No. They don't.
