Discussion Better ways to find a partner?

Are there any better ways to find a partner? Tried in the partner megathread but nothing ever comes up. People are rightfully nervous about connecting irl due to the amount of nefarious things have occurred. I've been thinking of finding online partner/partners? Can I create a telegram for that and post here? I know we have a telegram but to my understanding it is not for that. This telegram would be for connecting online and not irl unless otherwise trusted. Any ideas?

Create a telegram channel. Are you familiar with telegram? Or discord group chat. And yeah, a lot of people don't seem to be serious here (no offense to anyone).

Oh, I've heard of discord. Is telegram something similar or just types of communication like discord? I'm not really familiar with it though and I agree with that without meaning offense to anyone. I'm just waiting on being able to order N and as much as I'd prefer a partner it's not a necessity.

Telegram is similar to discord but the rules are more lax. Discord bans talks of self harm which is why I somewhat avoid it. I want a partner too but will go through with it no matter what.

What country are you from? Yeah, this is probably the least censored place out there unfortunately although it's nice to have some kind of community and the resources are all in one place.

I am in Maryland. And I agree. It's hard to find a legitimate partner and a place to talk. I almost got banned on here for breaking post rules (not on purpose). I do like the telegram idea.

Hi. I am with you. Have tried the partner thread but it's a miss. I like the telegram idea but I don't know if it can be posted here. I broke the rules on the partner thread before by mistake. If you can create a telegram, I wouldn't mind talking to you on there.

personally I'm surprised why some people still try to find a CTB partner.
the odds are very low and they may ruin your attempt by giving up at the last possible minute and calling an ambulance or something like that.

personally I think CTBing alone is the obvious way to go.

I can put some music I like on the background, pray or write some things. we're never really alone.
