I didn't react to your message because I'm angry with a $20 fee. I'm annoyed because you not only visit those sites but feel proud about it too. It's disgusting in my view.
I don't think that sharing those sites should be allowed here. Celebrating murder and torture in a place where suicidal people e-congregate and the topic of the conversation is the right to a dignified death. The fact that some members get a kick out of the despair and CTB of others makes me feel sick.
It's a dark underbelly that ought to be called out, for me.

I don't see it that way. Obviously some content is absolutely awful. However, a lot of the content is informative and educational.
Many people can and do say the same for being a member of this site.

I admit my ignorance as I've never seen it, but the way people talk about the brutality and tortuous nature of the content just doesn't sit right with me.

I can respect that.
Many people have their limits to those types of materials. And most sites do fairly well at keeping them separated in different categories.
I appreciate that users can visit them to see a possible outcome of their own ctb methods, of course only if they'd like. I know before I found any support sites like this or others in the past that hard reality sites helped keep me from making impulsive attempts due to aftermath.

I don't avoid watching videos of death but I don't actively seek them out either. But I also do not fit into the category you are painting some people who view these videos.
"Proud, get a kick, celebrating" these do no represent mine, and I'm sure many others attitude towards them.
It can boil down to simple morbid curiousity for the most part. If you're serious about hanging, I don't think it's farfetched to want to see what it's like for real. Doesn't mean they enjoy the video, or don't feel sorrow for the victim...they are searching for answers that words struggle to produce.
Of course, if you're obsessively watching them constantly, I would recommend other alternatives to satisfy whatever itch you have...but even still, where do we draw a line in the sand here? We can type how to die, read how to die, discuss how to die, speculate how to die, all day long...but when somebody wants to watch death, suddenly it's taboo? I just don't feel fair judging other people due to how relevant it is to a fourm such as this.
There is a wrong way to watch them yes, but I wouldn't cateorgize everyone who watches death videos into one group. If fact, I would recommend watching a video of a method once you are seriously going to pursue it...maybe the reality of it saves your life, who knows

It's not just videos of death, though. That's not what those sites are about according to the very people who visit them. It's not a CTB information site; it's videos of murder; it's videos of non-consensual torture and abuse.
You're free not to judge. As someone who not only doesn't avoid watching those sorts of videos but justifies it, why would you?
Similar arguments can be made with child abuse. One necessary line for me is when it's non-consensual -- when there's children or murder involved, for example.

I don't justify watching all the videos, that's the only reason I spoke up, is because you're blanketing them all together. I can be ok with watching one death video, and not be ok with another death video. I'm not a enforcer, I'm a observer. I would change the rules if I could, but I can't.

I go to places like that to find out what really happened before the media spin doctors created their own convenient narratives. It feels like you get a better understanding of the world when you know what actually happened rather than just how it was spun to suit a certain agenda. It's also intriguing to line up which horrors get reported where and how prominently - it exposes their biases quite starkly.
But there's a cost to that. There's something profoundly satanic about those sites and the regulars that frequent them that might be best avoided altogether. I always seem to feel worse after going there, even if it's informative.

You could try checking out /b/, there's usually an active rekt thread. Mostly reposts but every now and then there's a couple gems.
It's a shame all the decent sites dedicated to gore are being censored/shut down. Definitely not talking about Bestgore and their janky comment section here, but save from maybe a couple subreddits there's pretty much no gore sites left where you can have civilised discussions about the content.

I saw some amazing narco videos on bestgore. There was this one where a group of 4 or 5 guys ambushed a prosecutor in a train station or subway. Literally all of them emptied their whole mags into the prosecutor's head. By the end, he didn't have much head left.
I feel no sympathy for these law enforcement people. They know exactly what they're up against. Guess they have a death wish or are suicidal. Not only are they at risk, they are putting their families on the line too. Very selfish behavior.

Oooff. I'm surprised that even exists. I've seen my fair share amount of gore/death videos but that cartel shit is too much. Never thought I would say it, but that shit got to me.
I saw 2 cartel (assuming) videos when r/watchpeopledie was still up.
One was a pair of young males- the younger guy was being decapitated and the man next to him just stared straight ahead. I can't forget his lack of emotion. They kill him and same thing, just silence and no emotion still on his face.
The other had two men beating a woman to death with 2x4's by hitting her on the head.
I know morbid curiosity can get the best of you but they go too far.
