as i explore my list of possible ways to ctb i've been considering saving up for a good gun.(i live in the states) i face the dilemma of pain however. hanging? hurts. jumping? chance and can hurt. but a bullet to the head? quick. we are in fact killing our selves here, i don't wanna be here as much as the next however, it takes A LOT for any species (dolphins too look that shit up i'm being serious literally wtf) to develop the nerve to finally end it. does anyone else plan on going in this fashion? if so what gun and what angle? i'm just gonna follow your lead possibly, if i could leave with no pain i'd honestly feel at peace ...

I agree with you, i'd choose this method but in my country it's so hard to obtain so i'm choosing between SN or CO.
Also i heard you have to put the gun in your mouth with an angle of 15 if i'm not wrong

for the exit bag i followed all the mega thread of TiredHorse and there are good books in pdf/ videos that explain properly how to do an exit bag and other things, both these you can find easily in this website

I tried the partial hanging several times, but i failed. The partial can be interrupted and when the panic came, the survival instinct won.

Hanging is not included in the ppeh. Lots of survival instinct kicks in. Alot of people have a very pronounced wind pipe which would need to be compressed before reaching the artery's that supply the brain, which would be strangulation. It also has the feeling of free falling as blood is cutoff from the brain in personal experience.

Inert gas's nitrogen, argon, helium from personal experience you completely lose your vision first survival instinct is high.

Carbon monoxide one of the better ways, but environment has to be completely air tight, vents, old weatherstripping on car doors may not work. It's heavier than air and will settle at the lowest point, there have been instances where people slept on there belly's died but people sleeping on there backs survived, by the charcoal method.

I'm personally going to go via a firearm, and this is just me so pardon my slant view. My reasoning for this is that I find it easiest for me to obtain, execute, and it's success rate is one of the highest, closest to N, and other methods (especially if done right), and pretty much instantaneous, painless as I'll be unconscious in less than a second.

Sure, I could go via jumping or hanging as they cost next to nothing (a decent rope still cheaper than one of the cheapest guns (or close)), but those are less reliable, require more courage, and also harder to execute properly.

Ultimately, I would say it's up to you to decide based on your circumstances such as availability of access to such methods, your survival instinct, how much willpower you have, etc.

There are many threads on each method. Which one?

My opinion is that some methods are better than others, but which one is best for you depends entirely on your situation. What country you live in, how much money you have, whether you can drive, how complex a setup are you capable of building, etc.

But that being said I think the best are N, SN, CO, inert gas and partial suspension. Not in any order.

I think the worst common methods are jumping and cutting wrists.
