Best way to ctb in jail?

I am currently facing some charges and if convicted will end up in the slammer. I can't mentally handle doing that. What are some effective ways of suicide while locked up?

Probably need to form connections in order to find someone who can get something to use as ligature. I don't really know how jail works though so idk if it's actually like movies or not. Maybe suffocation too tho? I'm really just talking in not too educated on this compared to others.

My guess would be hanging. I've seen videos of people hanging themselves in jail, so it's definitely possible. I'm honestly not sure how any other "peaceful" method would be possible in jail, considering you wouldn't be able to have access to much else. The only other thing I can maybe foresee is if you could manage to steal a blood pressure cuff. Someone has a thread on using that to ctb, it would be similar to hanging but would likely be quicker.

All that aside, I'm really sorry this is happening to you. The threat of jail is truly terrifying, and I understand not being able to mentally handle it. My DMs are open if you ever want to talk

There are many ways surprisingly but you may not be facing what you think you are. Charges are regularly downgraded a
or dropped altogether. A wonderful young lady awhile back had a similar situation, we talked, and turns out her case got dropped completely. Sentencing can also fluctuate as well. You may face x charges but in actuality you may only be looking at probation or fines. Unless you killed someone, its not the end of the world....ask me how I know.
