Best method? Why SN is considered so good? Had terrible experience

As above. I couldnt fell asleep due to racing heart and adrenaline/panic. The feeling was physically worse than I could have ever possible imagined. Ofc I failed. I begged for it to end one way or another so I could kms by other method.

That's the question - is there a really good method? Only firearm sounds reasonable but it's strictly banned in europe.
Also considering Carbon monoxide but also nearly impossible to get.

Of course I had terrible nausea but it was nothing compared to an insane headache leading to diziness and racing heart and panic due to choking, despite desperatly trying to catch a breath. That's how SN works - make hemoglobine inable to Carry oxygen.
It was really horrible and lasted very long cuz I failed, and SN affected hemoglobine is metabolized slowly.
That experience is the only thing preventing me from more attempts.

Took about ~4g. Probably too low or poor quality. My bad.

"why is SN considered so good" is a great fucking question. It's not good, all of the good methods have been made inaccessible where people have to resort to it is the reason it's so popular.

Not really, it was before I discovered this forum.
I have propranolol thankfully. But Im too scared now after that experience.

i mean, have you tried to hang yourself? sn sounds way better. suicide methods are basically "would you do this or this more", because if you survive one attempt you'll have to do an attempt with the same method or with a different method to hang yourself. after trying to hang myself and freaking out every time i'm more inclined to take sn or anything similar to it if it kills me.

I agree with monetpompo every method has its pros and cons which is why what method a person chooses is so individualized and why it is impossible to answer those threads from new people to the site asking which method they should use. We don't know. Also the question of least painful method is like basically a non starter because I'm sure all methods have a bit of pain before going unconscious. SN is supposed to be the least pain and most accessible but that assumes people have money and that everybodys body reacts the same way. It's freaking russian roulette no matter what you go with.

if it's the only method accessible to you then it's the only method you can use unfortunately. you can still research other methods like drowning or jumping. it's mostly a psychological thing, but hanging is still painful initially. it's easy to underestimate how frightening anticipation is.
