Yeah, I hate the fact that everything is so uncertain. I've heard that people have survived falls from multiple heights. I hate the fact that there's a risk that I won't succeed, which is the only thing stopping me from ctb. I also hate the thought of having permanent damage from a failed attempt.triboro seemed pretty high but not sure the impact would do the job. plus there is a lot of traffic. you can be rescued.
exactlyI honestly wish that people would just mind their business and just let me be
Literally! I hate how people have the need to meddle in the lives of other people. It's literally my body my choice. If I want to die, so be it. And if someone stopped a ctb I bet they would feel like a "savior". They would be like "yay, another life saved!" I saw in the news reports of police talking to and preventing a man from jumping from one of the bridges and they were so proud that they "saved a life". I hate this savior complex that people have. They seem to think that living is the most important thing regardless of the pain the other person is in. They just see preventing deaths as the ultimate goal and victory.exactly
Thanks for the advice. Honestly I'm most probably not going to choose jumping as my method due to the risk of paralysis and being stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of my life, but sometimes I think about it…i'd almost suggest you do it at night but i had a boat. we went fishing after work late at night til early hours of the morning. we could hear the slightest sound.
I heard the Verrazano has suicide prevention fencing now though…was so wrong. it's verrazzano. i'm not sure again. is that the tallest part of the structure? i crossed it many times like triborough. about the same if you ask me
Unfortunately I know how to swim, I wish I didn't tho. Ugh why must it be so hard to die…honestly I wish one day my heart would just stop beating so I could die in my sleepunless you can't swim for shit, i would not recommend it. sorry for being an asshole
Thanks! I was mainly looking for ctb stats and data on the success of each bridge, but I guess this wouldn't be readily availableHere's a list of bridges, maybe this can help.

I heard the GWB has suicide fencing now tho…Brooklyn bridge is the most iconic bridge but might not be high enough. George Washington bridge is high enough to ctb. Its a double deck bridge. If you fall from the upper deck , its pretty much over.

I agree. They would feel like saviours, but they wouldn't realize they just ruined us because our suffering would be much more intense than before the attemptLiterally! Ugh I honestly just hate pro-lifers, and how they try to control other people's lives. Let people do what they want to, it doesn't even concern you
