Hi all. How would it be possible for me to get prescribed benzos? I do suffer from severe anxiety, so I wouldn't at all be lying or anything. But I'm worried that I might get prescribed something that isn't a benzodiazepine. I don't know how to nudge a doctor into prescribing me benzodiazepines without it sounding incredibly suspicious. I also take medication for my ADHD, so I'm not sure whether I should try to get the benzo prescription from a new psychiatrist, or try to get it from my current psychiatrist.

I'd ask your current psychiatrist. Usage of benzodiazapines is very common when you suffer from anxiety, involving panic attacks.

They're pretty safe (ofc not in long-term treatment), so you shouldn't be concerned asking for them directly.
