By breathing you are allowing death to happen at any monent, so you are committing suicide just by being alive.

Yeah it's called living until a natural death occurs, enduring all the pain, agony, torment, abuse, torture that goes along with it.

Severe suffering. Beyond comprehension. I think just about all of us here can list off 20 things that are worse than death. And with how upbeat you seem to be right now I doubt you'd feel very comfortable hearing even mine alone.

the worst that can happen is decades of suffering and agonizing pain. Old age, chronic pain, depressive episodes, anxiety. losing friends and family, hundreds of ways to suffer while we wait for death

It is kind of ironic that at least some of the people opposing suicide are very likely killing themselves slowly. Excessive alcohol consumption, eating junk food, smoking, taking drugs. Maybe they're not quite normalised but they are respected more as that person's personal choice.
