  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

For those who've been to beachy head, does tide height matter? I found a website that shows the tide height at certain times but optimal time is every two weeks or so and there's a short window. The height of the ground at the foot of the cliffs on Google earth seems inaccurate. Don't want to go and end up not being able to jump due to high tide (don't want to land on water)

I seriously doubt tide makes any difference at BH, apart from potentially taking your body out to sea I guess.

I would be careful at Beachy Head, there are regular patrols looking for jumpers there.

I've seen others talk about this place. Is the hope that they would retrieve your body after jumping?

It must be a pretty place.

High tide comes very near the cliff. You would still die though due to the height. If you go when it's spring tide the tide is lowest, just after full moon (next week for example) but high tide is also highest and def up to the cliff. You have a good 4 - 5 hour window though. Low tide image attached.
