I would never wish death upon anyone else. Also who knows, maybe I'm the one who has the wrong political ideas. Or maybe there is no right or wrong. Feels more like the second. It would be awful to wish death upon anyone, just because they have different ideas. Reasoning with them, yes. Thinking (and saying) that they're an idiot if they fail to reason, understandable (even though I could always be the one who's failing to reason). But nothing more.

I wish this still read as a funny joke to me, but it's too close to horrible reality to be funny. But yeah, spot on.

As for the OP question, I really don't think most people here would encourage anyone to CTB beyond maybe being supportive of someone who already totally made up their mind. This isn't that kind of a community.

No never. I tend to have a lot of sympathy for people who have political opinions that differ from my own… I found people often have understandable reasons for their point of view once you actually listen to what they have to say…

Thanks to everyone for responding. I was just curios because things are so divisive now in this country (U.S.). I guess most people on this forum are close to CTB themselves so caring who takes politcal power in the future is not a high priority on their minds. I'm kind of there too. I lived under 4 Democrat presidents and 4 Republican presidents and my life sucked through all of them.
