Filling a bathtub with water and then toss a hair drier that is turned on in?
How painful would that be?

I have no idea how high it is on the pain scale but it was pretty high on that one site(someone please post the link if you know which site i'm talking about). Technically you are being burned alive inside. Not to mention its dangerous for anyone who comes across your body. It could also start a fire.

edit: found it.

It does not matter if the drier is turned on or not. You will still be electrocuted as long as it is not connected to a GFCI electrical outlet. Electrocution has often been described as a series of intense burning and excruciatingly piercing sensations up and down your body. You get the idea.

It won't work since we're (probably) not in a scripted movie.
The security breaker will trip and you will probably feel a little bit of pain.
You would be more successful if you would cut your vein while taking bath than taking a bath with the hair drier : P

Are you so sure that you can count on the circuit breaker doing its job and you not being electrocuted? Why do you think there are GFCI electrical outlets installed in bathrooms??

Maybe in your country but here in Europe I never saw any GFCI outlets.
Maybe in UK and some other parts of the world, you will find those but in all of the Air B&B rooms which I visited, people had normal outlets and just put one of those special breakers into breaker box, which are very thicc and have one of those "TEST" buttons on them to test if they're still working

The following are electrical RCD (residual-circuit devices) standards from Wikipedia. I guess France and Germany are not in your Europe?

France
According to the NF C15-100 regulation (1911 -> 2002), a general RCD not exceeding 100 à 300 mA at the top of the installation. Plus, in rooms where there is water or high power or sensible equipments (Bathrooms, kitchen, informatic etc.) each plug has to be protected with a RCD not exceeding 30 ma. The type of the RCD (A, AC, F) depend of the type of the equipment that will be connected and max power of the plug. Minimal distances between electrical devices and water or floor are described and mandatory.

Germany
Since 1 May 1984, RCDs are mandatory for all rooms with a bath tub or a shower. Since June 2007 Germany requires the use of RCDs with a trip current of no more than 30 mA on sockets rated up to 32 A which are for general use. (DIN VDE 0100-410 Nr. 411.3.3). It isn't allowed to use type "AC" RCD's since 1987, to be used to protect humans against electrical shocks. It must be Type "A" or type "B".
