Well turns out my state might have restrictions on them as they are considered "destructive weapons" not surprised at all.

Never mind it turns out I can just order this to my house, and I can still get ammo so it looks like this will be my method. I already found one that I like and will probably order it soon.

Interesting. I've never seen these before. I'm blessed to live in a state with very few restrictions on firearms plus I was very careful with things I've said to MH professionals, so I think if push came to shove and I couldn't get SN (which seems increasingly more likely), and I ever feel that it's time to take my life, I would probably just dip into savings, buy a reliable firearm and use it. This seems like a very interesting way to get around the restriction that many people here have though
