Thanks, I hate it. Last night at my grocery job I let this guy who came up to me with a single serving milk, a banana and a small bag of candy, he told me he was homeless and just really wanted the milk but I told him to take the banana too. This poor guy just thanked me like 5 times and left. For a single banana he definitely could have stolen anyway

I can't wait to think about this every time I run out my money and fail to afford food until payday πŸ˜”
You are truly SALT OF THE EARTH type of person, all I can say is thank you for being so darn nice, thoughtful and caring.

At 18, I was kicked out by my "parents" no money nor food and I know the feeling of being hungry and nothing to eat.

You are a saint and each to his/her own, but I 100% believe in karma, and you will reap rewards for being so kind to your fellow human being.

I have reread your post for like 3 minutes and I will always come back to this post when I feel down, as you are a ray of light, warm and ever so bright.

im a fan of some 'postmodern' artwork at times. give me a banged up ball of brass shaped in a funny way. i like that.

but, i remember reading somewhere these types of artworks could be a way to launder money.
Yes, I did a thread/post about this. I have some clients that deal in fine art.
The same for most any non-regulated collectible – coins, watches, crypto, stamps, collectible cars, etc. A world awash in dirty Chinese and Russian money. A lot of this luxury stuff is just a way to move money around the world by kleptocrats enriched by easy money policies in the West. I know Congress is interested in governing some of the art activities. And it used to be that you could 1031 art – no longer though.

Cubes for example can be a pleasing geometric shape like other geometric shapes: pyramids, cones, toroids, spheres etc.
