Venting Bad Psychiatric Experiences

I can't be the only one who thinks psychs are sadistic POS.

They tell me to be silent, ask stupid questions, and treat me like a mentally challenged child, and any reaction I have against it will be used as proof that I'm a rabid psychopathic animal that needs to be institutionalized.

All the pills I'm being given make me feel worse. My pych told me that the way I'm feeling is not his problem and simply prescribed me with higher doses and even more drugs.

Now all I can do nowadays is cry on the floor while I get (physically and emotionally) kicked, and all they do is add another dose or pill to an ever growing pile of drugs so that I turn into a drooling, unthinking lardmass.

I refuse to believe that psychiatry isn't absuse and wards aren't prisons for people who committed the crime of being a burden.

Psychiatrists study medicine first and foremost, so the only thing they'll ever do for you is give you pills. They are not trained for therapeutic interventions, like clinical psychologists are. Are you only seeing a psychiatrist, and not a psychologist?

Only a psychiatrist. I've been sent to several psychologists, but all they do is ask some questions, nod a few times and send me back to a psych.

I expect no drugs or psych to cure me. I'm only going because I'm being forced. I just wish they let me go instead of finding reasons to fill me with drugs like a Xmas turkey.

Literally the entire point of the psych industry these days.
I've studied this bullshit in uni and there is zero value placed on the potential to help people, whether it is through therapy, meds, or research. Research is a circlejerk controlled by those who actually fund research, and not a single discovery of genuine value makes it to the stages of "Oh lets use this to help people". I will never in my life allow them to prescribe me anti-depressants, or anything else of that sort, in class they literally tell you every single reason why its awful for you in every single way, but they seriously treat it as something that's incredible and cures you. 90% of types of therapy are the same, its there to keep you in circulation and going over the exact same ground with zero thought given to a possibility of getting better. Yes there is therapy that will help, but I guarantee you every single PHD doctor moron will do everything in their power to dissuade you against it in hope that you'll give them your money instead. It's all a business, like every single other thing these days.

My experience in that shithole college was so awakening that I've decided to entirely give up on psychology, I don't have the words for how jading it was. And yes, literal psychopaths have the entire industry wrapped around their pinkies, because of course. On top of that, you won't find any other profession where there is more genuine clinical psychos. I've dealt with one, and I don't know if I'm allowed to say on here what I'd do if I had to work alongside these 'people' every day.

The difference between asshole and wonderful doesn't really matter when they're both trained to give you the exact same poison. Also, that's the thing about mainstream psychologists and psychiatrists, they straight up don't recognize the idea of someone being 'cured'. At least, this is a blunter version of how it was laid out to us in college.

Yeah I agree they pacify you with medication they got me on benzos 2 antipsychotics ones a depot sleep meds and they just keep adding more medication doesn't really treat what I have BPD when I have my outbursts or psychotic breakdowns that's what they've been calling them and they just IM me

All the psychiatrists I saw were globally assholes. I hate doctors. They think they are so intelligent, but AI is now far better than doctors.

We are the best psychiatrists, because we understand each others and we have something psychs don't have : COMPASSION

Fuck all these pretentious and arrogant psychs ! I wish they were in our place just for a day to see what it is to suffer from mental diseases...
