...of which many of us know there are many.... Contributing factors, illness causing symptoms making us have thoughts and feelings that life is overwhelmingly cruel, as such in my case etc.
I think this may be the first time I've posted in recovery but you know what I've been on this forum for years so although I wake up each day begging for an end I'm clearly waiting as long as I can persevere.

I'm trying to find a source for b12 injections after finding out my levels are right on the border.
Ive had this happen with lots of other things but over the years have slowly managed to either self medicate or get on treatment/both.

My life was so sad is that the doctors got me so frustrated and made me aicker that at one point I was buying levothyroxone even with evident hypothyroidism because they werent treating me properly.

I just wish I could have known how to start a complaint for medical mismanagement as they destroyed me.

Would be great to speak to others in the same boat.

Anyone know much about b12/hydroxocobalamin
I sadly can't find any for purchase in the UK but if you did how did it help.

Feel free to post anything of relating topic other physical meds. I'd rather not talk psych meds as there's lots of them.
Best to everyone.

I don't know about any of that but I've started to eat about 1/4th cup of good quality nutritional yeast over popcorn multiple times a week.

Have you considered just taking daily supplements for a time?

could you go to your gp/doctor and ask for regular b12 injections? I know you said they haven't been much help:(
I get them every few months at my gp practice because I have a b12 defiency..

B12 has really fucked me up.. didn't even know I had it until a couple of years ago but it's caused all kinds of havoc on my body:/

I don't know much about hydro sorry:/
As far as I know you can order b12 to inject because they get delivered to my gp practice.. but I've not heard of people injecting it themselves?

Usually the nurse has to do it

Sorry you've suffered but glad you're getting treatment now and hope its helping. When these things go unchecked it's frustrating and demoralising when we can't get treatment experiencing the effect / toll they take on our body over time.
The system wants us as sick as possible.

It's a fuckin shitty world we live in mate.

I can see some b12 shots for sale but the sites don't seem overly trustworthy and when your spending quite alot I hate when we realize we've sent money to scammers.
Its annoying because if I could obtain it I can easily do an intra-muscular injection myself after years of self medicating.

I wish they routinely tested eg for the folate processing gene, B12 deficiency etc

I've been vegetarian since I was three so pretty sure am deficient.

I have vitamin pills but always stop taking them…

I'm guessing injections are stronger. Please keep us updated

If you can spare some cash you can get like a bulk blood testing kit which does ALOT for about £200 but you'd have to get someone to draw your blood if you couldn't do it yourself.

But obviously your doctor should do these basic tests no problems sadly they often don't as you're aware, keep 'pestering' them. They seem to only speak that language of ignorance nowadays) ignore those of us with manners and empathy immigrants and just scumbags in general come over screaming and get their butt wiped anything they want "Aww you need disability money you have a poorly foot diddums here's a letter so you're exempt from even going to a assessment"

Regarding the blood test online company I tried and wasted the kit because drawing your own blood isn't easy. Punctured the same vein ten times in a row and wonder why my body seems to dislike me after a life of addiction injecting too .
I'm the same with vitamins I was lucky enough to stock up on cinnamon, tumeric, spirulina, kelp, and some other vitamins but it's just so hard to find the will to even do anything positive when you're ready to die but I guess that's the vicious cycle we're in. Cheers
