Anybody tried? I'm gonna do some mushrooms soon and then maybe in January go down to Orlando and do a ceremony with ayahuasca.

I am investigating micro-dosing with magic mushrooms but cannot find a reliable or safe source during Covid.

Any suggestions?

I've never heard about ayahuasca but now I will be reading about it.

Thanks for sharing.

Really interested in that topic!
I read that it can really change the way you see your life and relationships. I think it really worth a try for everyone there before CTB

Yeah, I did an ayahuasca ceremony in the Amazon jungle in 2016. It was pretty nuts.

I was kind of on a high for a while afterwards, but my 9-5 corporate existence quickly stamped this out of me.

Still, it's a cool bucket list thing to do and if you're interested in it then you should give it a go. Some people really do have life-changing experiences as well.

Sounds cool. I'm from Brazil but have never been to the Amazon jungle.

I've done some ceremonies. About 9. Was absolute key for my health issues. I wouldn't be on here if it wasn't for covid messing up the final steps, so in effect ayahuasca almost saved my life. I found kambo to be a good stepping stone to detox the body and prep it better so ayahuasca can get deeper. You can find practitioners at IAKP.org. I personally think she could save over half the people on this site. It's not for everyone, but if you have a calling then you should see her. If you smoke pot, don't smoke for at least 6 weeks before ceremony though and for a while after, it's hard for her to tap in and continue working on you when the Mary Jane spirit is hanging around you and lay off the pork and spices for a while.

I've been to ayahuasca three times, it replaced my chronic mental pain with numbness, honestly I prefer the second one, but I tried to kill myself anyway, so... I didn't have a purpose in my life, and it made it easier, all in all I don't regret going there, as I've never been better than before

lay off the pork and spices for a while.

Why lay off pork? The indigenous peoples who inhabit the Amazon rainforest are quite carnivorous. They love monkey meat.

Yeah they are all go, it's not pork. Some plants just don't like certain foods and pork is generally high in parasites. If you go on a plant dieta, it's even more important to be strict but with just aya, pork and spice are the main ones. If you go to a retreat, they provide all the meals and send out an info sheet prior to arrival. Usually you have to be a lot more strict e.g no fermented foods, processed etc for a few weeks before. Clean, organic is preferred. I personally noticed a difference when I was strict as opposed to not prior to going. Got a lot more out of because there wasn't anything in there pissing ayahuasca off. Some people get away with pork during ceremony, while others have noticed changes. One chick brought ginger with her and took before a ceremony, she then spent the next 10 hours with agonising pain in her stomach. She took it to help her nausea during her ceremony but ayahuasca is all about making you nauseas and making you throw up toxins so the two didn't mesh well. Another guy had a spicy meal the day before arriving and his stomach was on fire during the next ceremony.

I bought microdose tea on etsy.

Also, r/unclebens so you can grow your own

Shes connects you to the spirit world and helps you connect back to who you are by emotionally, physically and spiritually cleansing away the trauma and toxins.

If you are a woman I wouldn't touch this with a 10 ft pole without doing extensive research on the facility and the people in charge. There have been many scandals where men were raping women while they were high on ayahuasca. There are also cases where women run the camps get you comfy to a point where you trust them and all the while they are pepping you for their male leader to abuse you. The hallucinatory state can take you to the point where you think you dreamt the entire thing similar to the affect of roofies. Be careful.

DMT def has the potential to change your life and outlook on things, but you have to be prepared. if you genuinley think youre ready and in a good mind set then go for it, but if you take it in a bad mindset, itll only make things worse.

What mindset?
The "Set" of the famous "Set and Settings" needed for psychodelic experiences: https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Set_and_setting

Set

Mental state

One of the most important factors to consider as a user (especially an inexperienced one) is one's current state of mind. Many substances exponentially enhance a person's current state of mind, emotions and general perception of the world which is a process that can go in either a positive and euphoric direction or a negative, terrifying, and anxiety-ridden direction.

It is because of this that many substances should not be used (especially by the inexperienced) during stressful or negative periods of life and users should be fully aware of the ways in which drugs, particularly psychedelics, are known to consistently force a person to face and directly deal with their deepest personal problems and existential anxieties (including any past trauma) that is shared among all human beings.

It is advised that those with serious mental illness such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder should not ingest these substances due to the way they strongly amplify one's current state of mind and emotions as well as exacerbate latent delusions and trigger hallucinations.

Throughout the experience itself, the user should try to let go and allow the effects to take charge. One should be taking the metaphorical passenger seat and not try to control or dictate any part of the experience. It is extremely important that people simply relax and let things arise or disappear on their own accord (i.e. "going with the flow"). The user should understand that the act of tripping is often ineffable and incomprehensible, particularly at high dosages, meaning that a total acceptance of not being able to understand the full scope of what is happening should be present at all times.

It is recommended that one face the fact that their thought processes, although more insightful in places, will be inherently impaired along with motor control, conversational skills and general psychosocial functioning. The user should be sure to view these effects as normal and not feel self-conscious or insecure about them within the presence of others.

Physical state

The current condition that one's body is in is as important as one's mood when going into a trip. If one feels tired, sick or injured, these sensations will manifest as amplified versions of the same conditions during the trip which, when combined with the possible body load of the drug, may easily ruin one's mood and therefore the rest of the experience.

Tactile enhancement, which occurs on many psychedelics, can be described as an overall enhancement in the intensity of tactile input alongside of an increase in one's overall awareness of the nerve endings throughout one's body. This effect in particular can make physical injuries more painful while tripping, including any pre-existing back pain. Instead of tripping during a stressful, tired, sick or injured time in your life, one should wait for a more suitable opportunity in order to drastically lower one's chances of having a negative experience.

I tried it when I was still looking for 'meaning in life'. I wanted some 'why' questions answered. I saw a large flat neon surface and there was some kind of entity laughing mockingly at all my questions. I think it tracks, if any kind of creator of this universe existed, it would be exactly like that. It made me accept that at this point not all questions can be answered and that spirituality is a con.

you need to be off psych meds (not sure if all of them or some) in advance for a certain amount of time. Read the health info…

Have been planning on going to a Ayahuasca retreat for a while, not sure if I ever will but have been to plenty of peyote ones, and though, it's supposedly not as strong, it was very.... soothing. If I could do it every 3-4 months, I think my mental will balance out and I'd be able to keep pushing through. Sadly, doesn't seem like that's likely
