It's not any fun waking up and feeling like that. I always have that moment where you wake up and it's like you don't have any memory of who you are and what you feel, then everything reboots, you remember and you just wish you could sleep again. :-(

I had an operation a few years ago, I have to admit, I had a bit of a hope that I wouldn't come around afterwards. They gave me the anesthetic and told me to close my eyes and it would kick in so I did. They wheeled me through the doors and I thought hang on a sec, I'm still conscious. Then I woke up. The operation was over and I had no concept of what had happened. That's always felt quite appealing ever since. I want to just go into a really nice deep sleep and not wake up a lot of the time :-/

Also Electro Convulsive Therapy has an appeal. I would quite happily have them run so much volts through my brain that I would be like a complete blank slate. Apparently people lose all memory and personality for a while. I would like that to be a permanently outcome. But I don't think it's possible :-(

Amen brother, I wake up every morning in pain and start dreading the day. Everyday I just grow closer and closer to my doom. However I'm sorry for how you feel, we are here to support.

I hate waking up from my dreams. even the nightmares. I wake up and get a panic attack when I remember the reality of my existence. you're definitely not alone. im thinking of you

It's even worse when you barely sleep. You don't even have any place to retreat to.

I can totally relate. I can't recall the last time I woke up and did not have CTB on my mind. What a way to start the day.
