Well I'm from Australia so let me try get some of that from my psychiatrist to see if it's genuine.

Well, I'm from the states, so it really doesn't apply to me. But, good for your guys. Certainly can't hurt to give it a shot, if one is so inclined.

I'm going to Oregon partly for psilocybin treatment for my ptsd. I think they just do sessions though, not long term dosing.

There are various laws in different US states, which is better than outright criminalisation.

As for Australia, as I said on the other thread, I didn't see this coming. I've been bitter at the criminalisation of something that might have potentially helped me and many others with CPTSD. Though the other article said that they estimate it would cost a vast sum of money to access these therapies, which would make it just as useless as if it were illegal.

Wouldn't the government pass the necessary laws to require the insurance companies to cover the treatment?

this is great news!!! hopefully other countries will follow suit in this field! there is so much stigma around drug use that has prevented therapeutic use to be seriously looked into, so this is a great step forward.

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I don't have any insurance at all and usually get away with using services partly funded by the government. I might try and find out more.

Good luck finding a doctor to prescribe tbh. If by some miracle you do it will probably cost thousands of dollars.
