I recently saw this https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...tml?ito=native_share_article-nativemenubutton - and wish I had terminal cancer or wished it was me she looks really happy and she gets to leave this world. its really fucking unfair especially how people with terminal illnesses are told they are so strong and loved and it seems like they get special treatment. but we who's only option is to ctb in painful ways are called cowards and weak and that we are healthy so we should be forced to live and life is great its bullshit I hate this fucking world everytime I have seen that article I cry and get jealous and have to scroll past it and ignore it.

Why do you have to have an illness? VAD should be legal everywhere, given to any consenting adult who asks for it, and completely free of charge.

I agree. It should be a human right for everyone.

i agree that this should be an option to everybody - but i could never imagine experiencing the excruciating pain as described in the article. stepping into their shoes sounds absolutely torturous, and i would never wish this on anybody.

To me it's so inhumane how people have to earn the right to die with dignity by suffering extremely, I despise this anti-suicide society where suicide isn't viewed as the human right that it should be. We are all destined to die anyway and we are only waiting around for death so humans deserve the option to take control over their inevitable fate in peace, if assisted dying was legalised for all it would prevent so much suffering, if I had that option I would feel so relieved.
