• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

A list of things that keep me going through the thick of it. Serve as reminders for myself mainly.
Some songs that help a little:
Walk Like Thunder by Kimya Dawson
This Year by The Mountain Goats
Ten Things by Paul Baribeau
Loose Lips by Kimya Dawson
Dried Roses by Big Thief

Movies that help me
I'm Thinking of Ending Things (Netflix) (adapted from a beautiful novel by Ian Reid)
The Skeleton Twins (Tubi)
Dead Poets Society (Hulu)
Saved! (Tubi) (this one's just silly; no ctb)

The Orange by Wendy Cope has always stuck out. What about you? What art do you like?
I like different art depending on the mood.
For fun just typical neurodivergent overstimulating stuff.

But for meaning, people are my favorite art pieces,
can't find anything much more unique than our little thought factories that seem to never stop.

Oh and oh god I am in love with the alien franchise haha! Alien Isolation especially.
Those creatures have such sharpness and danger to them, while being oddly intimate of a foe.
They are like a mix of cats, spiders and snakes, yet smart in their own inhuman way. I wish I could have one as a pet

loved im thinking of ending things too, but was one of the most depressing movies ive ever seen

i wasnt ready for the pigs monologue and how much i related to it

Mine are mostly music,
metal always gets me moving
The downward spiral by nine inch nails,
the final line in hurt always picks me up for some reason

Master and Justice by metallica, classics
Schizophrenia to Arise from Sepultura
Colony by In Flames

those among others always cheer me up

i cant really watch shows anymore as i grow older, even my comfort ones bore me to death now
