Throughout my life of an angsty teenager I switched from radical right full of Nazi lovers to radical left where my own existance was treated as less and in the end I think that any radical political side ends with same results... Hate
I chose the life where I support anybody whose gay, trans etc. Because what kind of Hypocrite would I be to judge others based on way they were born (Especially cause Im bisexual myself)?
But also understand why some older people defend what they believed in for maaaany years, its their reality.

I think that's a pretty sensible position. I had to work in migration services for 9 months a couple of years ago and everything going on there was so absurd. That definitely made me socially right wing. But then again, how right wing and left wing are perceived differs from country to country. In my home country, it's already considered "extreme", if you support enforcing current immigration rules. And if you look at the whole concept of asylum itself, then you'd quickly understand that it was never meant for what it is being used at the moment. It's also meant to be temporary, if for example a civil war somewhere ends and the country is again designated as safe, then people can loose their status and be sent back. I see nothing extreme about that. And I didn't even touch on the crime statistics for certain groups, which are absolutely abysmal. I mean, these are for once actually easily preventable crimes. It was suicidal to let these people in and it is still suicidal to not even do anything about it and classify everyone who speaks about it as extreme

Are you not reading what you're saying? No one said anything about re-immigration. That's just normal politics. If someone is there illegally, then the law will deport them with due process. Killing people for it is fascistic. There wasn't any huge amounts of immigration happening during his time. Spain was a state of emigration instead.

Defending a fascist makes you a fascist. What about him are you defending that won't make you a fascist? All he did was ruin Spain and kill hundreds of thousands who he hated.

While I think republican (as in REPUBLIC not the political party) governments are the best system we can have currently due to how massive the State is, I am someone who thinks universal suffrage was a mistake. If I had it my way it would only be net-positive taxpayers who can vote, and likewise wish for the return of the old days of the Articles of Confederation when the State only existed to protect people's rights, property, and from foreign invasion. Not possible now, not even close.

Yeah... it's kind of a weird stance. Realistically I just want everyone to be able to work full time and afford a decent but humble life. Where they can afford a home and food without having to stress over every penny. I have my methods that I think would work, you have yours. I've accepted over many years that there's no purpose in having a discussion. The moment you're to the right of Obama you're a terrible horrible despicable human being, and the moment you're to the left of John Fetterman you're a socialist libtard. I get called both. There's really just nothing to be gained with anybody no matter where on the spectrum they are.

So, what is a net taxpayer? someone who pays $5k in taxes? How can a government run like that? We don't consider you a net taxpayer, but we will still regulate you, control you, tax you, and you still have to follow all of our laws without a vote? What will count? Roads? schools? Medicare? Law enforcement? Social security? What exactly is a net taxpayer in this situation?

There's nothing to say that if you pay more in taxes then you're more politically qualified and should have more political power. The government doesn't only affect tax payers, it can affect everyone. If someone became physically disabled, they won't be considered a net taxpayer, so they won't have the right to vote.

If a net taxpayer gives the government more money than they use in services, they should have the right to vote. What if they no longer make enough to be considered a net taxpayer, so take their right to vote away?

A country ran by a government like this will end up in ruins. Universal suffrage isn't a mistake. You can pay more in taxes and still be an idiot when it comes to politics. I think the person with the average & above avg IQ should be the one to vote. I've seen people seriously believe the new $5k handout promise if republicans win over the midterms. I know it won't happen but even if it happens, it would be terrible for the economy. Everyone has the same amount of money = higher prices for goods. It's not even capitalism at that point, giving away free money to every single citizen. Might as well give everyone a million dollars so a slice of bread will go for 100k.
