Abetting to suicide is a vague law. I honestly believe that the feds are at least watching for people encouraging CTB rather than simply giving education about it. I wouldn't be surprised if we also get an analysis done on us by a sociologist like with what happened with incels.is when a sociology phd student made an analysis about the site as her thesis.

In most commonwealth countries, simply posting on the site may cause 5 years in jail as a felon if the courts decide that posting on the site is encouraging suicide. You could be punished more than a drug dealer.

I've actually wondered about typing in an eccentric style in order to protect against stylometry, but I realized that it would make my posts too unreadable, so I'm taking the risk anyways.

That is unlikely, IMO. We're a site full of broken, depressed people, many of whom want to painlessly end their lives without any harm to others. That doesn't exactly scream "high-risk". Though it wouldn't surprised me if the Fed kept some form of tabs on this site, I'd imagine you'd run afoul of the admins before you show up on the government's radar.

More importantly, I do know for certain that SS is monitored by the following:

• KiwiFarms
• Wikipedia
• Pro-life activists

However, of the former two, most users have nothing to fear. KiwiFarms is just a gossip (and doxxing) site, while Wikipedia aims to be the standard reference of the internet. Neither of these coincide with preventing access to easy/reliable suicide methods.

As for the latter, I wouldn't be surprised if some pro-lifers keep tabs on different suicide methods and their availability. From what I've seen however, all their efforts have centered around shutting down this site, and halting the flow of information. As long as SS stays around, we can ensure that doesn't come to pass.

i think it depends on the risk/plausibility of the statement. So lets say u mentioned trenchcoat and school.... yh something might happen there

You won't find anything here that you don't already know... what I imagine they have to watch out for are those who try to provide drugs or the predators that make this place their hunting ground.

Apart from sociologists/psychologists/psychiatrists who want to study us without intervening or interacting with us, of course.

I'm skeptical of this, since I've never seen that kind of protection in any online place before. besides, authorities often ignorantly see the site itself as a threat.
