World government, politicians, wealthy people, big tech, corporations, celebrities etc. I imagine all of them being gathered in a very large private conference full of trustworthy individuals to discuss their next plants of ruling this world and having control over it. Is this all an elaborate scheme of theirs in order for us the ignorant ones to be kept in check, fight against each other and wait for the grand final scheme of theirs to finally come? We are being kept down by the elites for sure. They even keep the technological progress in check. At least the one that doesn't benefit them.
Over the last 100 years sources of free and clean energy have been invented over and over again by smart individuals. These investors got targeted one by one and you know... died in "accidents".

It doesn't work like that. I have moved in some fairly high circles, and it's mostly just people who are as ordinary as you and me, except that some of them are wealthy or have political or economic power, trying to find a sensible way forward for their corporation, or their government, or their country, or their organization, or whatever. It's not as easy as you might think. The external world imposes many constraints on what they can do. None of them have unlimited power.
There certainly are some groups who work for their own advantage, knowing that it will be at the expense of the rest of us, but they are not the majority.

Yes and no. If we know their face and name, they may do questionable/objectionable things, but ultimately are just seeking limitless pleasure. Epstein and anyone on his flight list fits this category. They can have their entire wealth, power, influence, and life flushed down the toilet instantly if they try to expose anyone actually making the place worse on purpose. In the case of those people, whose names and faces we don't know, their intent is less about limitless pleasure and more about rivaling God. They want to be worshipped. They don't care what else we do, they just want us to worship them while we do it. But unlike God, the worship of them is fruitless, trustless, and raw carnal attempt at survival. No amount of brute force can make them God. They better enjoy it while they can now, because the smoke of their torment will ascend eternally.

The thing with these types of theories is that evil people don't need to have a closed door meeting in a dark evil lair where they wear capes and light dim torches before saying "now that we've gathered, how shall we proceed with the mass enslavement and baby didling?"

People can act in a conspiratorial-light way by simply having similar objectives and acting independently. The idea that they are actually in some secret club where they hold blood rituals is used to make speculation about evil in powerful circles sound too absurd to be true.

I think there's a lot of bad stuff that goes on when you combine unlimited (unearned) resources with no oversight. I think there are a lot of powerful people who do bad things. I think there are a lot of powerful people that want things to happen that are bad for the average person. (Look at central bank digital currency. It takes the worst parts of fiat and crypto and gets rid of the good parts of each for the sake of more control by the elites. There are powerful people who legitimately advocate for it at the international stage.) None of that means it's some elaborate scheme.

That said, of course we all know that those elites are controlled by the demonic lizard people who live beneath us and control all our politicians like puppeteers.
