  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've tried to find communities that actually acknowledge self harm. Communities that, when I say I want to hurt myself, they won't just respond with, "No !! Try drawing on ur hands it'll make you feel better !! :D"
I was wondering if anyone knew of a forum or something similar to this for specifically self harm.

I've seen a "post your self harm pictures" on some pro-anorexia sites?

I learned how to be a cutter at 19 - didn't even know it was an option till I saw it in a made for tv movie. I've never sought treatment for the self harm specifically, but have disclosed it to therapists during counseling for general screwed up-ness. They really tell you to draw on your hands?! Is that for real? That's preposterous. For me, that would be less effective than chewing on a straw when I actually want a cigarette. This is the professional recommendation? How demoralizing.
