Hi so like every SH related place i see treats it basically how everwhere else treats suicide where discussion of it is censored unless its in a "this is bad dont do this" and ban any like actual discussion of it, especially anything pro it (which like im not saying its good/should be done or whatever but to me personally i see it as a positive thing for me and i'd like a space where i can actually discuss it without having to censor myself or anything much like this website.)

does that exist? if anyone knows pls like send me the link in dms or whatever (or post here if youre allowed but idk if you are im ngl i dont remember)

I would say this place is quite pro-choice with self harm. Most people are going to be empathetic about it and give helpful information about it if you do want to SH or suggest less harmful ways of doing it (at least thats what i have been doing.) For me self harm has helped me get through really extreme negative emotions and the consequences for most people like scarring doesn't effect me.

yeah but this place is more focused on ctb and like idk ive asked a few times and it isnt like as positive as id like really i want somewhere like this but its like just focused on it really yknow

Someone make a Sanctioned Self Harm! To answer the question tho the only thing I can think of is on Twitter as I know there is SH community there.

im ngl i'd even take a dark web site if i have to i just want somewhere where i can talk about this and get tips on how to do it better and shit but not in a harm reduction way. the only place ive found good advice is fucking 4chan honestly lmao on random threads on /lgbt/ cus theyre mentally ill af over there i love it

You could also try r/MadeofStyrofoam

While it's not pro-SH (I don't know if those spaces even exist outside of twitter and I would honestly be happy with there being no pro-SH spaces at all, tbh) they seem to be a bit more laidback compared to r/selfharm. Besides that, there are some other selfharm subreddits that you could try looking into, though they are a bit harder to find.

i dont really see what the difference between that and here would be. maybe pro sh is the wrong word more like pro sh in the way that this site is pro suicide as in more of a pro choice but like not like encouraging shit or whatever yknow? but yeah everything i find either sucks (twitter cus again full of minors and annoying and toxic people) or like isnt pro choice enough
