My female friend was given oramorph (morphine sulfate) by her boyfriend and I told her that she could get addicted. She's naive and thinks it's no more stronger/addictive than paracetamol.
I'd say the opiate crisis speaks for itself hehe. Anything can be addictive depending on who you ask. Sounds like she just doesn't want to face the facts.
I Had a 20 year opiate habit. I took Benzos daily for about 8 years and speed or coke daily for maybe 10 years.
I'm sure everyone's experience is different but for me,I was VERY lucky and only experienced withdrawal symptoms from the opiates. BUT that was a kind of hell I would not wish on my worst enemy.
So,I'm not saying the others are not addictive. Just that I personally didn't experience withdrawal symptoms from them.
