Discussion Are any of you guys southeast Asian?

So a tiny bit about myself, I'm half southeast Asian (vague for privacy reasons). My mother was born and raised in a country within that region and my father is an American former U.S soldier, but he didn't meet her while he was in the military he met her on one of those 90s bride catalogues (100% ethical and definitely not consensual trafficking). I was born and raised in the United States and I can only speak English but I've been learning basic Spanish for over a year now and can understand bits and pieces of my mother's language.

Is anyone else on this site of a similar background?

hi! im also half southeast asian, but half european. im living here rn in asia. i was exposed to both of my parent's cultures, more in the asean side though. they both met somewhere cause of work. also random thing, i know a little bit of spanish too cause I've tried to learn it before just as a hobby.
