Imo they're an example of an actual global girl group done right
I feel like almost every girl group that's not Korean or Japanese that's debuted after 2004 was cursed in some capacity either due to shit management, bad marketing, members not having any chemistry or one member being marketed as the TOP bitch with everyone else being neglected, or people in general being sick of them and not falling for their gimmick.
But I feel like they've restarted the trend for global girl groups and we're going to be seeing a lot more of them in the coming years, and I'm even more shocked that it's a Korean company actually marketing them correctly.
For starters the members aren't chugging glutathione and using pastel filters to look ghostly white, they don't look bone thin (I mean they probably are suffering from an ED, but at least they're not promoting that look to their fans,) they don't force the members to be purist and act like children, and their concept actually fits them and no one is trying to out do one another because they're all given the same amount of spotlight and there's no obvious favoritism in the group.
They also got actual stylists who do the correct makeup and hair for the girls skin tones and hair type and don't put the members with thicker or curlier hair types in shitty wigs. They're also all really funny and have good personalities and individual charms about them (ex; Daniela is a great dancer, Lara is a killer vocalist, Sophia is a charming performer.) they kind of remind me of the classic Bratz movies.
