It's incredibly easy to get to Aokigahara forest. On any given day you'll see groups of locals and foreigners on the main trail. The Japanese government has been trying to remove the stigma around the forest for awhile now and has stopped releasing the amount of bodies they find each year to the public.

Its not easy to get lost unless you're intentionally trying to navigate away from the main path, and then it becomes very quiet very quickly because it's on top of hardened lava that blocks sound. Very magical and beautiful and solitary. I see why so many would want to use it as a place to leave the earth.

Aokigahara is certainly no place for coward, the traditional ways to commit suicide left many trails down there because the Japanese believes they shouldn't take the possession/belongings of the suicide, they only take the bodies annually.

It's actually pretty hard to get there, I've heard. You need to take the train first. Then, in order to get to the forest you need to take a taxi, but most taxi drivers will only take you so far because they don't want to be liable if you go there to commit suicide

Most Japanese people who go to aokigahara with the purpose of dying come from Tokyo since aokigahara is in Yamanashi Prefecture which is just right out Tokyo and they pretty much just get off the bus and just walk in and suicide right there close to the parking lot because they just want to get it over with which is pretty much what the guy Logan Paul found did.

Weeaboo trash.
This is my dream place to ctb!
Actually, I planned to ctb there last year when I was in Japan, but the timing didn't work out and I have to continue being in this world
It is a very serene place, and if you go deep enough, there won't be pedestrians lurking around to mess up your plan

Like you this is my dream spot to die as well but i cannot make it there right now but hopefully someday.

True but i am pretty sure sometimes belongings are given back to the family.

This is kinda creepy no doubt it is haunted.

It is so creepy how when the weather and time of day is different aokigahara changes.

I noticed looking at pictures and videos of the forest when it is sunny it looks like a normal forest when it is raining the forest looks all dark and depressing and at night it gives off a scary haunted vibe.

Maybe i am noticing stuff that is not there but that's just a small thing i picked up on when watching YouTube videos and looking at pictures on Google.

Also there is this too this tends to happen quite often.
