It's a drama miniseries based on Conrad Roy's suicide and the court proceedings against Michelle Carter (for her supposed part in it, via text messages). I think it was on Hulu but is now available free to UK viewers on Channel 4.

I thought it was a tad corny at first but from Episode 4 it became a serious show for me personally.
