i see a lot of users here aren't in the best financial situations, im just curious because i feel like i should have nothing to complain about because i was lucky to have financially fortunate family and get recommended to go to recovery in the bare minimum but i still want to end my life because i wasted all my opportunities and am a loser who doesn't deserve to live.

No, it's not wrong at all. There are certainly plenty of problems that having money can prevent or fix, and if those are some of your problems, then it makes perfect sense to desire the most obvious solution.

(Careful about plastic surgery though, nothing wrong with the desire but human beings are pretty terrible about recreating naturally pleasant aesthetics..especially with the face.
It goes wrong and wonky far more than it goes well. A lot of people look worse and are suffering even more after having attempted it..and society just doubles down on the cruelty after that.)

I'm financially unfortunate but that's not the reason why I want to ctb.

You have your reasons, being financially unfortunate just isn't one of them.
Simple as that, sometimes.
You can be glad you don't have that problem and be glad that having the cushion of funds probably mitigates other life troubles or prevents them from compounding your woes, but you can also still be experiencing the suffering that comes with lost opportunities or regrets, etc.

Ehh, kind of? Kind of not? I don't struggle finicially, but it's not that I'm rich either. I feel that part of my family is upper middle class, not sure about my side. We do get money to spare and to go on a vacation. We're not exactly swimming in money either.

However, what I know is, there isn't enough money for me to rot somewhere the rest of my life not working. Nor is it okay for me to just live off of my family because I don't want to work. So I will go knock on death's door.

No no, not at all, a lot of users here can be helped if someone gave them a lot of money because a lot of problems can geniunely be solved by money, although not all. It's alright as long as you respect the people whose problems cannot be solved with money.
