  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Can't speak on behalf of Mexico, but in the US, most facilities have explosive "sniffers" which sense the presence of both improvised explosives, and explosive chemicals. X-Ray use would limit what the carriers could ship, as many items are X-Ray sensitive.

X-ray would take way too long to do on every shipped item too. I believe its used selectively on items of interest for other factors and perhaps also used randomly the way they do it with shipping containers.
Domestic packages ultimately receive less scrutiny but if they're from a previously flagged location/source and/or meet spec's aligned with the packages previously flagged they stand a higher chance of scrutiny.
