Anyone have dreams where you talk to the deceased?

I had one last night and what sets it apart is I talked to him and asked him, "Do you know you died? But how is this possible I can see you fine?" He replied that yes, he knows he died but he is not necessarily dead. I told him I haven't healed much from an event. I almost told him I was gonna ctb soon.
When I woke up, it definitely had me thinking. Any similar experiences?

It's much more detailed honestly, it's literally as if he walked through the door now for a visit. I felt like I could smell him, touch him, feel his goodbye kiss on my cheek. It messed with me for a few hours after I woke up. The first dream I questioned him for even being around since he died. He told me "that wasn't me, I'm right here. This is me"... which I'm guessing was a way to process finding him after 2 weeks unattended. But I wouldn't mind more dreams. I've only had 2 in 3 months. ♡

I've had one similar dream and it was very vivid. It had a cohesion that was unlike all of my other dreams. I won't share the specifics but I'll always remember it and it did make me question long held views.

I have alot of dead friends and family and dream about them alot.In the dreams we are just hanging out like we used to do as nothing has happened, although under bizarre circumstances and strange places.

A girl I really was in love with, who died a few years ago visits me in dreams. I love it when that happens. She is so significant to me, not just as a great love of my life but also because her death was the point when I ceased to fear death, just because I had a notion she would be waiting for me on the other side.

Don't really have many dreams anymore... but when I do, I'm usually dying, falling, or being chased by people and then die. Plus, I can't even seem to wake up when I become aware. When I was younger though, yeah I saw my dad both in and out of dreams. Heard my name randomly sometimes as well.

A couple of years ago I used to tutor and I had a student that had ctb. I dreamt about her a couple of months ago. We were at a lesson and when we were packing up she said she wasn't well and didn't have a lot of time left. All I could do was reply "I know."

Almost all the time, to my long gone aunt and grandmother. One dream in particular, I would never forget - I was seeing her coffin with her inside all over again, my grandmother. Then when I looked to the side in the said dream, I noticed another coffin with me in my graduation suit. Stuff really stood out and has a meaning to me even to present day. Seeing myself dead in a dream, quite the strange yet a bit peaceful experience.

I never had any dreams of the deceased but I know one of my cousins did after a year my Mom passed away. My cousin saw my own Mother and what made it more believable was that they were really close. It happened way back in 2002-2003. It still makes me think to this day..

A few days later as we left the cemetery, a couple more deer ran in front of the car to cross the street. One of them stopped and just looked at me again. I felt it was a message from her, since her humility and elegence always reminded me of deer.

As for dreams, I never had any such visitors, but my mother tells this story: a few days after her best friend's mother died, the friend's mom came to her in a dream. She said "I can't stay long, but tell (insert friend's name) that I'm alright"

My sister hung herself 7 days ago, 2 nights ago I dreamt I was in my old house. I was sitting on sofa and my 2 brothers were standing next to sofa talking about sumfin. Then I looked away then looked back and one of my brothers had turned into my sister. My other brother was still talking like nothing had happened, he hadn't noticed. AND I stood up and held her hoodie and said omg it's you! it's you! but my brother still didn't notice. So I sat back down on sofa in shock. AND she walked over to me and stood there just looking at me. AND I kept saying can you stay? Can you stay? And she smiled and said no I can't. AND sat on my lap, gave me hug and a kiss. Then In the dream, I opened my eyes and realised I was being resuscitated by a brown haired paramedic. I thought to my self I nearly died and I saw my sister. Then I started thinking whatever I've just done to my self this time my bf is going to be pissed off at me. Then I woke up, and I felt this massive pressure on my lips, like someone had just kissed me really hard. AND my bf was asleep and we were facing away from each other.

My best friend died 13 years ago.

About three months ago, I had one of those exceptionally vivid dreams that felt super real. I was attending a choir concert and my friend had arrived before me. He had saved me a seat next to him.

I like to take it as a sign that he's ready for me to join him.

I've had this with my brother. I've always really liked moths and right before a big trip (across the country by myself) a hummingbird moth showed up and figure 8'd around my friend and I until landing on me and flying off. the first thought was, that must have been my brother. during the trip an out of season moth showed up across from where I was parked. it was the middle of the day too.

I rarely remember dreams if they're not nightmares so none like these. my mom gets them though.
