Yeah, i feel like people especially in the medical field, are such liars.
Phrasing it like every person who tried to ctb regrets it afterwards and that there are no people who really want to do it.
Before I became mentally ill, I never really heard of mental illnesses besides depression and couldn't understand how it works.
Whenever mental illness was brought up, people said that everything is either curable or at least treatable, so you could live a normal life
I kind of imagined that living with a mental illness is the same as having diabetes or asthma and having to carry with you special medicine. Nasty, but not undoable.
Well, here I am, being horribly wrong.
Exactly. It is a total lie what people say - this stuff about people regretting it. It's just what they want to believe and the socially acceptable story, but it is not true.
It makes me so angry that the vast majority of people feel that suicide, assisted dying and euthanasia are either sinful, selfish or both. No one but you knows the pain you live with, be it physical or mental. As for psych wards, I agree. I've spent enough time on the fuckers. The doctors are useless, immoral wankers.
As for what happens after, I believe it's exactly the same as before you were conceived. You didn't exist then, and you won't exist after.
I hope you are right re the afterlife, because I don't want to exist after :)
